What happened
After lunch on August 13, Experts from power and energy organizations will be invited to review the Center’s progress and preparations for its workforce development program and to discuss future directions. The workshop will explore how curricula and hands-on training programs can be structured around the core capabilities required by the industry, while identifying ways to connect education and research through industry-academia-research collaboration. Participants will also discuss the roles of each institution, establish a framework for cooperation, and exchange views on the Center’s workforce development objectives and phased implementation plan.
